All new bikes are supplied set to meet the emission requirements in various states and countries around the world. This may not be the case where you ride or what is best for the engine in your bike. In many cases this results in a lean air/fuel mixture condition resulting in a hotter running engine.
Any modifications you make such as changing the exhaust system or air filter will result in a leaner mixture.
Harley Davidson bikes are predominantly air-cooled and the correct air/fuel mixture will result in smoother running, better throttle response, and a longer lasting engine.
Our engine remapping involves running the bike on our rolling road whilst adjusting the Air/Fuel mixture at all throttle positions to the correct value.
Unlike the generic flash tune offered by many parts suppliers, a rolling road tune takes all the modifications made to the individual bike and adjusts the ECM to provide the correct air/fuel levels.
